• Aloe vera
  • Penetrates deeply and moisturize the skin. It contains polysaccharides, glyco-proteins, enzymes, minerals, vitamins and amino acids to promote a smooth clear skin, free of wrinkles.
• Jojoba oil
  • Helps prevent moisture and water loss, while increasing suppleness and smoothing the skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, as shown in dermatological tests.
• Calendula
  • Soothes and calms the skin.
  • It is ideal for dry, dehydrated, irritated and delicate skin. The saponins and mucilage contained in calendula have humectant properties.
  • Due to the presence of carotenoids in its chemical composition, it has great re-epithelizing properties – making it ideal for general healing, wound healing, eczemas, as well as fighting the signs of aging.
• Centella
  • Helps increase circulation and boosts collagen production.
  • The asiaticosides and triterpenes have modulating properties on the development and metabolism of connective tissue, improve the synthesis of collagen and other tissue proteins by modulating the action of fibroblasts in the vein wall. It will help stimulate collagen remodeling in and around the venous wall.
  • Centella therefore improves wound repair, with a better re-epithialisation and a normalization of perivascular connective tissue, thus allowing an improvement of the venous wall tone and elasticity.
  • It is found that in poor connective tissue conditions, the triterpenes contained in centella are able to renew collagen - in quantity and quality - and help restore tissue firmness and skin elasticity and improving skin appearance.
• Camomile
  • Calms the skin, fights allergies and inflammations.
  • It is a miracle worker on the skin and calms red, dry and irritated skin, reducing allergies, eczema, psoriasis and all other flaky skin problems.
  • It is high in -(-a)-bisabolol, which promotes granulation (healing) and is also a great tissue regenerator.
• Ginseng
  • Ginseng is used in cosmetics for its rejuvenating properties.
  • The herb has a beneficial effect on circulation and regulates the tone of the smooth muscles of the blood vessels.
  • Its activity makes it useful in nourishing creams, in treating wrinkled and aged skin and in all cosmetic products used to retard the onset of aging.
• Green tea
  • Helps to support the elastin in the skin.
  • It is often included in anti-aging skincare products for the antioxidant properties contained in the herb.
  • It has three major benefits – firstly it is a powerful antioxidant, reducing free radical damage in the skin. Secondly it is a potent anti-inflammatory agent thereby reducing inflammation in the skin, and thirdly, and most importantly, it has an inhibitory action on collagenase – an enzymatic action in the skin - where the collagen is broken down - resulting in more firm and elastic skin.
  • The flavonoids and catechols in green tea provide it with vitamin P properties. The tannins in its chemical composition give it astringent properties, whereas the polyphenolic compounds also act as an astringent, but also protect the skin, bringing about vasoconstriction, reducing inflammation in the affected area and finally, cell regeneration is caused, as well as a wound healing activity.
• Hemp seed oil
  • Deeply penetrates and moisturizes the skin.
  • The hemp seed oil that is used for cosmetics and skin care products contains a high amount of polyunsaturated essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acids), which makes it an important ingredient in anti-inflammatory skin care formulations.
  • For this reason it is beneficial to the skin, as it helps to heal skin lesions, balance dry skin and fight skin inflammations.
  • It is a non-greasy, emollient and moisturizing compound, with excellent anti-aging and moisture balancing properties.
• Rosehip
  • Helps repair sun damage and fights lines and wrinkles.
  • The oil extracted from Rosa rubiginosa has excellent tissue regeneration properties and helps to reduce scars (trauma and surgical), as well as wrinkles.
  • It has some great rejuvenating properties and is helpful with fighting sun damage to the skin. It is high in GLA, helping to reduce the signs of ageing, especially fine lines around the eyes (crows' feet) and lines around the mouth, fighting the drying effects of the sun and climate, as well as attenuating accidental and surgical scars.
  • It helps the skin heal and regenerate, preventing the formation of ugly keloid scar tissue (thickening of the skin when forming scar tissue).
• Soy
  • Has a superb regenerative effect.
  • The oil has a regenerative effect on the cutaneous tissues, due to the presence of unsaturated fatty acids. It therefore enhances local circulation in the area treated, to bring about revitalization of the dermis.
  • Not only is it a superb moisturizer, but its intrinsic phytoestrogen content is valuable in promoting good skin care. The protease inhibitor effect that it has can play a role in fighting unwanted changes in the cell, which gives the oil anti-tumor properties.
  • The oil contains a high proportion of phytosterols. These components have been attributed with the improvement of certain disorders of the conjunctive tissue and cutaneous injuries, because they cause an increase in the collagen biosynthesis of the fibroblasts and enhance the reduction of reticular collagen.
  • The phytosterols contained in the oil may therefore be used in specific treatments for aged skin, thanks to their revitalizing and emollient properties.
  • The antioxidant effect of the oil also plays a role in preventing premature aging.
  • The presence of sugars and amino acids cooperate in moisturizing the horny layer of the skin and promotes elasticity and flexibility, characteristic of normal skin.
• Vitamin E
  • Repairs and prevents oxidative damage to the cells.
  • Vitamin E protects the cells and the cell membranes from  oxidative stress, which is caused by free-radicals. This oxidative stress can be worsened by a variety of outside factors, including UV radiation, pollution, smoking etc.
  • Test results show that the topical application of vitamin E helps to noticeably protect the skin against damage from UVB radiation and also helps to reduce peroxidation products in the skin.
  • As we age, the natural amounts of vitamin E decreases in our skin, which can be supplemented by applying it topically to the skin. Not only does it help to reduce the ravages of free radicals, and keep the resultant aging at bay, but it also helps to moisturize the skin and assists with tissue repair.
• White lily
  • Sorts out minor skin problems and is a great moisturizing agent.
  • The chemical composition of the bulbs (saponins and polysaccharides), give the extract soothing, anti-inflammatory and protective properties.
  • The extract also has hydrating and emollient properties (polysaccharides). Therefore, it can be added to all types of formulations aimed at dry, irritated or sensitive skin.
  • Soluble polysaccharides have a filmogenic action on the skin, which promotes skin hydration. They act by holding water, consequently maintaining the right moisture level in the horny layer, which in turn improves skin flexibility.
  • Polysaccharides are included in the group of hydrocolloids. These substances act by increasing viscosity, stabilizing emulsions and maintaining optimal moisture levels.

Cleanse the skin with Ageless Herbal Face Wash and pat the skin dry.
