The most telltale places where you can see people’s real
age, is their
hands and then their necks.
Although most people use hand creams, to keep aging of the hands at bay to
some extent, few people do anything special for their neck and
the neck is
normally the place where age shows the most.
When aging, people refer to turtle neck, crepey
neck, stringy neck – or
whatever – to explain a stringy and old looking
neck.
The skin of the neck area needs special care, as it is more mobile than other
skin and constantly facilitates the movement of the head, being pulled in
various directions.
When the skin of the neck ages, it not only forms fine lines, but wrinkles,
loose sagging skin and folds appear - never mind how dewy and young your face
may look - this combination of deep lines, wrinkles, folds and flabby skin, will
cause you to look old, more than anything else.
Although the neck does not form the same wrinkles and lines as the face, the
stretching, turning and twisting of the neck causes its own types of
wrinkles.
To simply moisturize your neck with the same cream you use on your face will
help to a certain extent, but will not achieve the desired effect and a
specialized neck cream will need to be employed to help fight the
aging of the neck.
Some facial exercises will help to tighten the neck area – and here are
some:
- A great exercise is to sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the
ceiling while keeping your lips closed and then start a chewing movement.
You will feel the muscles working in your neck and throat area - and will be
truly amazed at the results. Repeat 20 times.
- Sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the ceiling, while keeping
your lips closed and relaxed. Start puckering your lips together in a kiss
and stretch the kiss, as if you were trying to kiss the ceiling. Keep your
lips puckered for 10 counts, then relax, bring your head back to its normal
position and repeat 5 times.
- Sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the ceiling, while keeping
your lips closed and relaxed. Open your lips and stick your tongue out as if
you were trying to touch your chin with the tip of your tongue. Keep your
tongue out in this position for 10 counts, and then return your tongue and
head to its normal position.
- Sit upright, tilt your head back looking at the ceiling, while keeping
your lips closed and relaxed. Next move your lower lip over your top lip as
far as possible and keep it there for a count of 5. Relax and repeat 5
times.
- Lie on your bed, with your head hanging down over the edge. Slowly bring
your head up towards your torso and keep it there for 10 counts. Relax and
lower your head towards the floor again - repeat 5 times.
- Sit upright and face forward and while keeping your lips together,
separate your teeth by dropping your jaw and then push your jaw forward,
keep for a count of 10, bring back to starting position and repeat 5 times.

to the restructuring of the skin and a resultant younger looking
complexion.
This peptide has a two-fold action – it protects the skin from
environmental aggression and degradation – while at the same time boosting
collagen production by an amazing 300%.
It specifically targets the neutralizing of RCS (Reactive Carbonyl Species)
radicals which could, if left unchecked, damage the DNA of the skin
cells, as
well as attack the collagen in the skin, causing it to cross-link and age
faster, becoming harder and less elastic.
Furthermore, it protects against UV damage to the
skin, and very importantly,
increases the production of collagen by 300% in only seven days.
